Modern dual-laser technology for fast and effective hair removal with mild discomfort.
What it is – What it offers
Laser hair removal is an established method of long-term hair reduction. We use the GentleMax PRO by Syneron Candela, featuring two different laser types on a single platform:
Thanks to the dual technology and the integrated Dynamic Cooling Device (DCD) Cryogen cooling system, the treatment is comfortable and personalised to each patient's skin phototype.
Treatment Areas
Laser hair removal is suitable for men and women, addressing even persistent or heavy hair growth on:
Beauty by Design
GentleMax PRO combines Alexandrite and Nd:YAG lasers for personalised application according to the skin phototype.
How the treatment is performed
The doctor evaluates skin phototype, hair colour, texture and thickness, and selects the appropriate wavelength (Alexandrite or Nd:YAG) with precise parameters.
Laser energy is selectively absorbed by the melanin in the hair. In hormone-dependent areas, the Nd:YAG detects the dense dark hairs without affecting natural vellus hair.
The energy absorption causes an instantaneous temperature rise exclusively within the follicle, destroying its regenerative cells — the surrounding skin remains largely unaffected.
Each session concludes with the application of a soothing moisturising cream to the treated area.

Quick Facts
Recovery
After the treatment, the plastic surgeon will give you detailed instructions on what you should and should not do, so that there are no surprises.
Mild temporary redness or slight perifollicular swelling may appear — normal and subsides within a few hours. A simple soothing or moisturising cream on the treated area is recommended.
Avoid very hot water (shower, sauna, steam room) on the day of treatment. Do not scrub vigorously with a sponge or use exfoliants for 48 hours. Avoid direct sun exposure for 7 days and apply high-factor SPF.
Results
Representative cases. The result is always evaluated in the context of each person's anatomy and individual characteristics.
FAQ
The exact number of sessions is not the same for everyone, as it depends on the hair growth phase (the laser destroys hairs in the anagen phase), colour, thickness, skin phototype and area. On average, approximately 8 sessions are needed for non-hormone-dependent areas, at intervals of 35–40 days. In hormone-dependent areas (e.g. abdominal line, arms, face), the number varies and is adjusted according to the body's response.
No. Waxing, threading or depilatory creams are strictly prohibited — they remove the hair root that must remain in place for the next laser pulse to target effectively. Only shaving with a razor is permitted between sessions.
Side effects are rare and controlled — usually temporary local irritation or redness that subsides within a few hours when the doctor's aftercare instructions are followed.
Assess your skin phototype and design the appropriate hair removal protocol together.
Results vary from person to person and cannot be guaranteed. Suitability for any treatment is determined by the doctor after a personal consultation.
