Targeted treatment of localised fat in double chin and body, without surgery.
What it is – What it offers
Fat dissolving lipolysis targets localised pockets of fat that resist diet and exercise. Two complementary techniques are offered at Beauty by Design: injectable lipolysis with fat-dissolving substances, and Cocoon Duotechnology combining cavitation ultrasound with radiofrequency.
The Cocoon system acts simultaneously on fat reduction, cellulite and skin laxity, offering gradual, visible results with little to no downtime.
Treatment areas
The treatment targets areas with localised fat deposits that are resistant to diet and exercise.
Beauty by Design
Fat dissolving injections break down localised fat deposits, such as beneath the chin, for a more defined contour.
How the treatment is performed
The doctor assesses the target areas, measures circumferences and designs a personalised treatment protocol.
Cavitation ultrasound breaks down fat cell membranes, while radiofrequency simultaneously tightens the skin and combats cellulite.
Where indicated, fat-dissolving substances are injected with precision into the subcutaneous fat layer.
Preparation before treatment
Maintain good hydration in the days before your session — drink plenty of water to support the body's natural removal of the destroyed fat cells.
Avoid aspirin or other anticoagulant medications for a few days beforehand (in agreement with your doctor), to minimise the chance of bruising.
Limit alcohol, trans fats and processed sugar. Prefer fresh fruit, vegetables and lean protein.
The treatment area must be clean and free of open irritations.
Quick Facts
Recovery
After the treatment, the plastic surgeon will give you detailed instructions on what you should and should not do, so that there are no surprises.
You return to your schedule immediately. After radiofrequency or injections, mild local swelling or slight redness may appear, which subsides quickly.
With injectable lipolysis, small bruises may appear at the injection points. They are reversible and subside within a few hours or days. In case of mild discomfort, applying ice, cortisone cream for 1–2 days or simple pain relief (paracetamol) is recommended.
Results
Representative cases of fat dissolving lipolysis. The result is always evaluated in the context of each person's anatomy and goals.
FAQ
The exact number of sessions is individualised. The plastic surgeon will assess the thickness of the fat tissue and your needs, designing a personal treatment plan to achieve a satisfactory body-contouring result.
Once the fat cells in the treated area are destroyed (whether by Cavitation ultrasound or by the lipolytic substances), they are not expected to regenerate. However, to maintain the new body shape, a healthy lifestyle and a balanced diet are necessary. The remaining fat cells can expand with significant weight gain.
Fat dissolving is intended exclusively for adults, from 18 years of age, provided the patient is in good general health. There is no strict upper age limit; suitability is assessed individually.
Discuss your goals and design a personalised fat dissolving protocol.
Results vary from person to person and cannot be guaranteed. Suitability for any treatment is determined by the doctor after a personal consultation.
