Natural collagen activation for deep tightening and radiance.
What it is – What it offers
Biostimulators are one of the most important developments in modern aesthetic medicine. These injectable substances — unlike classic fillers (hyaluronic acid) — do not provide immediate or artificial volume. Instead, they act as a powerful "awakening mechanism" for the body itself.
Biostimulators activate fibroblasts to produce new, natural collagen and elastin. Their action delivers a gradual, progressive and long-lasting improvement in skin quality, restoring lost firmness, density and natural radiance.
Treatment areas
Biostimulator treatment has a wide range of applications — both preventively and therapeutically on the face and body.
Beauty by Design
Collagen biostimulators work beneath the skin to gradually rebuild firmness and elasticity, for a natural, progressive result.
How the treatment is performed
Treatment is performed in the clinic following a personalised protocol.
The doctor performs an anatomical evaluation and assesses skin quality, selecting the appropriate biostimulator for the desired result.
The area is thoroughly cleansed. If necessary, topical anaesthetic cream is applied for comfort, and target points are marked.
The biostimulator is injected with precision at the correct skin depth using a very fine needle or specialised microcannula.
Clear aftercare instructions are provided for the following days to support the collagenesis process.
Preparation before treatment
To minimise the risk of bruising and support a comfortable experience:
Quick Facts
Recovery
Immediate return to daily routine. Mild redness, slight swelling or sensitivity at injection sites may occur — these resolve quickly.
Minor bruising is expected and resolves within a few days — it can be easily covered with make-up from the following day.
Avoid intense physical exercise, sauna, steam bath and direct sun exposure.
Rarely, small nodules may form under the skin — palpable but easily managed by the doctor. Very rarely, an infection or allergic reaction may occur.
FAQ
Classic fillers provide immediate, mechanical volume to fill wrinkles or add shape (e.g. to lips or cheekbones). Biostimulators do not add volume — they stimulate the body itself to produce new collagen, gradually and naturally improving the density, firmness and elasticity of the entire skin area.
The protocol is individualised, but 2–4 sessions are typically required with a few weeks between them, depending on the skin's needs and the material selected.
Due to natural collagen production, results can last, typically 12 to 24 months, depending on the type of biostimulator and individual skin characteristics.
There is no strict age limit. Treatment is usually started preventively or correctively from the late twenties or early thirties — the period when natural, gradual collagen reduction begins in the body.
Assess your skin condition and design a personalised collagen biostimulation protocol.
Results vary from person to person and cannot be guaranteed. Suitability for any treatment is determined by the doctor after a personal consultation.
