A natural shape, a youthful look and firm breast support, safely.
Overview
A breast lift is the surgical procedure that raises and reshapes sagging breasts, offering strong support and a renewed appearance. Depending on each woman's needs, a breast lift can be combined with breast augmentation (silicone implant placement) when simultaneous restoration of lost volume is required.
WHAT WE CORRECT
The procedure aims for an aesthetic restoration of the breast. Specifically, it corrects:
Restores the breast to its original, youthful position.
Corrects the difference in height or shape between the two breasts.
Reduces the area around the nipple if it has become enlarged.
Addresses skin laxity and loss of elasticity.
Beauty by Design
Breast lift is tailored to the degree of sagging, anatomy and desired outcome of each patient.
Preparation before the procedure
Before surgery, a detailed medical examination and the necessary pre-operative tests are carried out. You must inform the doctor of any medications you are taking or allergies. Avoiding smoking, alcohol and prolonged sun exposure is recommended. On the day of surgery the patient must be fasting.
TECHNIQUE
The procedure is performed exclusively under general anaesthesia.
Depending on the degree of ptosis, incisions are made either around the nipple, vertically down to the inframammary fold, or in an "anchor" pattern. Over time they fade and become less noticeable.
The breast is lifted. If volume is required, a specialist silicone implant is placed (above or below the pectoral muscle).
Absorbable sutures are used.

Results
Representative mastopexy cases. Results depend on the degree of ptosis, anatomy and the patient's goals.
FAQ
Strictly speaking, no. Breast lift (mastopexy) repositions the existing tissue to a higher, more youthful position and removes excess skin, without adding or removing substantial volume. However, because the breast becomes more compact and firm, it may look slightly smaller or "fuller". If you wish to change size at the same time, the procedure can be combined with either silicone implants (for volume and projection) or breast reduction.
In the vast majority of cases, a breast lift does not affect the ability to breastfeed. Modern surgical techniques preserve intact the blood supply to the nipple and the connection of the milk ducts to the glandular tissue. However, because a subsequent pregnancy and breastfeeding cause renewed fluctuations in breast volume (which can loosen the skin again), the procedure is usually recommended once the patient has completed her family, to help preserve the result for as long as possible.
Yes, significant weight fluctuations and pregnancy can alter the result. It is recommended that the procedure be performed once the patient has completed childbearing.
