Effective surgery procedure to enhance the size and shape of a woman’s breast.
Goals
To achieve better symmetry when breasts are moderately disproportionate in size and shape.
To improve breast appearance in general after weight loss or pregnancy.
To improve the shape of breasts that are sagging or have lost firmness.
To provide the foundation of a breast contour when a breast has been removed or disfigured by surgery to treat breast cancer.
Procedure
We consult each patient individually in achieving the best result after surgery.
Dr. Athanasios Pallantzas, spends extensive time with his patients to determine their preference for the size and shape of their breasts. The doctor performs specific measurements that are decisive for the final choice. The decision is based on patient’s safety and the achievement of the best possible outcome for her body type.
Incision
Very small, about 3cm.
Incisions vary depending on the size of the breast augmentation, the type of implant and the anatomy of the patient.
Incision options:
• Periareolar (around the nipple)
• Inframammary (under the breast)
• Axillary (under the arm)
The incisions weaken over time.
Types of Breast Implants
Silicone Breast Implants are filled with silicone gel. If the implant leaks, the gel may remain within the implant shell, or may escape into the breast implant pocket. A leaking implant filled with silicone gel will not collapse.
We use certified silicone implants by MENTOR, which meet all safety standards and are FDA approved.
Why choose silicone implants?
Silicone gel provides a more natural tissue feeling.
Are they any age requirement?
18 years and older.
This technique uses fat from your own body to enlarge and uplift the breasts instead of silicone implants. During this procedure, the doctor collects fat from thighs or abdominal area of your body with liposuction and moves it to your breasts.
Why choose implants with fat transfer?
It provides a natural result.
Are they any age requirement?

- Subglandular implant placement or over the muscle placement is a technique in which a breast implant is positioned between the existing breast tissue areas and the chest muscle.
- Submuscular implant placement or under the muscle placement involves placing breast implant par

FAQ
How long my implants will last?
The implants used maintain their effectiveness for decades.
Do I need to replace my silicone implants?
Silicone implants are been replaced only if they have suffered a rupture or when the “capsule” that encases them has hardened too much, which creates an alteration of the result or pain.
This does not happen often and is not dangerous. It can be corrected with an additional operation.
Will my breasts be lifted after breast augmentation?
No. This surgery does not lift the breast. The patient looking for such result should have a breast lift operation, which can be combined with breast augmentation.
Will I be able to breastfeed after breast augmentation?
Yes. The ability to breastfeed is not compromised.
