The amount of fat on our face gradually decreases, causing the skin to “slacken”. Thanks to autologous fat therapy, its youth can be preserved by performing fat transfer from our own body.
What is it?
Autologous fat is fat from our own body, and that makes it an ideal implant, which comes to fill the gaps and give absolute harmony to the proportions of the face. It is the only treatment that renews skin from inside out.
The results of autologous fat transfer are long-lasting and visible from the very first days.
How it works
The plastic surgeon removes with a special syringe a small amount of fat from areas of the body where the is excess, usually from abdomen, thighs or buttocks. After special treatment, it is injected using very fine needle in the desired area. In a period of 10-12 months, 30-60% of the implant is absorbed and fibrous tissue will grow in its place. For more permanent results, it is recommended to repeat treatment after a few months. Repetitions are simplified by using frozen fat that we kept from the first session. The fat can be stored for up to 24 months in a special freezer.
